形態特徵

• Rhizome terete, 4-5 mm in diam.
• Leaves at base, linear-lanceolate, 15-25 cm long, 5-7 mm wide, apex acuminate, base gradually attenuate, sheathing, entire, glabrous on both surfaces, many veined; nerves slightly elevated on both surfaces; sheaths 1.5-2.5 cm long, glabrous; stem leaves usually linear, 15-20 cm long, 4-5 mm wide.
• Flowers yellow, 5-7 mm in diam. Inflorescence a panicle, 40-60 cm long, erect to ascending, densely hairy, villose; bracts linear, 3-4.5 mm long, 1-1.5 mm wide, villose, apex acute; pedicel 2.5-5.5 mm long, villose; outer tepals lanceolate or oblong-lanceolate, 5-6 mm long, 2-2.5 mm wide, apex acuminate, short caudate, base contracted, margins ciliate, villose outside, glabrous or slightly villose inside; male flowers: stamens 6, filaments slender, 2.5-3.5 mm long, glabrous; anthers ca. 1 mm long, versatile, pistil absent; female flowers: ovary ovoid-cylindric, 3-3.5 mm long, 2-2.5 mm wide, glabrous; stigma sessile, 3-lobed, the lobes linear, 1-1.5 mm long, recuved; staminodes 6, linear, partly connate with perianth segments, anthers absent.

分布

• 台灣 : exposed fields and grasslands, 2,400-3,500 m, central Taiwan, uncommon.
